BilboHicks' Gaming Apothecary
In my spare time, I've occasionally tinkered with and worked on different game modifications & projects, typically for my own enjoyment of playing.
Here is a list of various other mods & projects that I've worked on, which you may find worth checking out...
'The Fate Of Daggerdale' Neverwinter Nights Module
A Neverwiner Nights Vault 'Hall of Fame' winning module, set firmly in the Forgotten Realms universe. It's epic scale, with 15-25 hrs of gameplay, supports multiplayer co-op and has a strong story driven campaign.
It also includes content from both expansion packs and ton of extra custom content.
Soundset Editor for Neverwinter Nights
An editor for creating custom soundsets for Neverwinter Nights.
Systemic (Mech mod) for Unreal Tournament 2004 (WOESSPUT2K4)
Systemic UT2K4 ports Section8's Mech mutator into Unreal Tournament 2004. It also enhances the original in many ways. For instance UT2K4's Avril guns can target the mechs, animations are refined and there are a ton of configuration options
for playing with these Cygen mechs in UT2K4. The mod also integrates with Dr Evils's
Weapons of Evil mutator, so that the UT2K4 Avril gun can also target Dr Evil's Sentinel drone deployments.
Playing with both Cygen mechs & Dr Evil's Sentinel drones are much recommended in UT2K4 Onslaught (& Assault mod)
Gumball Superbike Rally & Gumball Superbike Race for SA:MP
SA:MP is hack/mod which allows simple multiplayer game modes to be played across the whole game world of GTA: San Andreas on the PC, similar to what GTA IV now allows.
This mod introduces 3 new race-type game modes where the players start at the center of the world with superbikes and have to reach checkpoints which randomly appear on the game world.
The rules are different for each game mode, see README, but all are a lot of fun.
Killing Floor
Killing Floor is an Unreal Tournament 2004 total conversion which can respectably be called a precursor of Left4Dead. It was initially based on UT2K4's Invasion gametype, but now is a game in it's own right.
I worked as primary coder on the later part of version 1 of the mod.
UPDATE: Killing Floor was recently picked up by Tripwire Interactive and is to be released on Steam as a fully fledged product. More info here:

Scavenger Hunt
A cool (IMO) Unreal Tournament mod which I converted some maps for. I'll let Dr Schwa (who went on to do the Marble Madness UT2K3 mod) describe it:
"
This is a team game which can be best summed up as an interesting mix between CTF and Domination. The level is strategically populated (by the mapper) with flags of various point values: 50, 25, 10, and 5. Players search for these flags and bring them to their base to add the points to their score.
The mapper can also place Black Flags. Black Flags are worth -50 points. You'll want to drop these babies into your enemies base. Black Flags can be disabled from a game even though they may exist in a map.
If you kill an enemy with a flag they will drop it (of course) and you have a limited amount of time to pick it up again before it disappears. The more important the flag is the shorter the time before it disappears.
After a flag is scored (or disappears after being dropped) it will wait for a bit of time before respawning again. The more important the flag is the longer it will take to respawn. The team to first reach the score limit (or the team to have the highest score when the time limit is reached) is the winner of the match. "
